Music of my life. We did not have color TV, cell phones or internet back then, but we did have THIS!

I am a Freshman in HS and this is playing on the AM car radio. Ike was in the White House and all was well with the world. At least this has stood the test of time. Thank you Bill Doggett, Billy Butler and Clifford Scott. American music at its best. This outlives you and will outlive me, too. Sublime.

Love this! I remember as a kid this playing on the turntable as loud as it could go…my mom and dad loved to dance and they would get up and tear it up, then my two brothers and I would join in! Wonderful memories! My mom and dad are both passed now, but when I hear Honky Tonk one an two, I close my eyes and I can see my parents dancing with smiles and laughter and pure joy on their faces! I’m so thankful to God for those memories! Bill Doggett forever!
