Bill Evans really had his own style, sound, delivery. Unique interpretations! With the skill to back it up. He is one of a kind and truly underrated. Well, that makes him more valuable in a sense.

Exactly. And I probably never thought about the underrated aspect until now. So, he's very famous among global jazz listeners, he's frequently cited as a top influence among younger (and even contemporary) pianists, but he's "underrated" in the sense that you really don't hear his name too often. How strange.
