Guys, if you have a theater near you that is showing this movie, please watch it again n again if you can.

Critics are tearing this movie apart, thinking it was not realistic enough, but being realistic was never the point of this movie.

What im saying is, this movie needs all the support it can have.

The nearest theatre that is showing this in my area is 2 hours away. I cant go as often as I want to.

If you loved this movie and there are theaters near you showing this movie, please watch it again!

If this movie fails, Im afraid we wont get similar movie musicals in the future.

What they never explicitly tell you about Charity is that she came from a rich family, she had the life Phineas is working towards, but she wasn’t happy. She left it all behind because she loved him, and even though their apartment was tiny and the ceiling leaked, she had him and their two kids. She’d take love and family over mansions and money. But PT grew up poor so he thinks money=happiness. And when she left him it wasn’t because she thought he had an affair, she was smart enough to know better. She’s honestly the movies unsung hero.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Michelle Williams' singing skills here? Because, first of all, the vocals are amazing. But the way she manages to link it to the film plot is so good. You can tell while by her voice that it sounds like she could break down and start crying any moment. To be able to fill a song with that much emotion is truly admirable. I really think this is one of the most underrated songs ever.

I love how Michelle William's character showed us what's "Behind a successful man is a woman" meant. She never gave up on her love for Barnum even though he screwed up and prioritized his career over her. She is the perfect representation of "True Love". He did make mistakes, prioritizing his career over her, thinking he was doing things for her, not realizing that he had lost sight of what was important. She wasn't betrayed, but she was abandoned by this behavior. She left, and he realized his error, and repented. She forgave him, and they together forged ahead. It's a story of grace and forgiveness. I went to go see The Greatest Showman with my Granny. A few days later, she died from a heart attack and it was the last movie she ever saw. I feel blessed to have spent one of her last days watching such an amazing movie. She was a musician herself and played the piano and adored this song. It’s one of my memories of her and it’s my favourite song💓💓💓

A lot of my work friends love show tunes and this soundtrack is by far one of the most listened to by them and they have been a lifeline for me in the recent months since a really good friend of mine passed. I just listened to this song and it reminded me of the times he and I had a lot of problems and yet we remained friends for near 30 years. so I completely get what you were saying about your granny. sometimes it's hard but you get through. I'm happy that you're better now and even though we never truly get past someone's passing but we grow stronger with the memories we share with them.

At first, I thought that A Million Dreams was going to be my fave from this musical. Then it was Rewrite The Stars. But in all honesty, THIS SONG has become THE SONG for me. I was on tour with the Circus for 4 years and each season we had a high wire artist. This brings back such memories, as dreams are truly made of.

My dad hates musicals, but, when this one came out, he downloaded it for me and we watched it together. That same year, he moved to another country and for 3 years, I didn't see him. When he came back, we watched the musical Hamilton, and, I was so happy. Even if he didn't like musicals, he still did it for me, no matter how much I dislike my parents, they have their pretty moments.

I just want to know why it was necessary for Barnum to go after the "Swedish Nightingale", Jenny Lind, to dazzle the world with her voice when his own wife could've been the voice for his circus??? Her voice is absolutely gorgeous and she could've been the "American Starling", even going head-to-head in friendly competition with Jenny??? The Starling vs. The Nightingale? Charity seems to love singing and she would've blown audiences away. A rising star may not be established in the world with a previous reputation but I bet Charity would've held her own against world-class singers even such as Jenny.

I didn't come from the Korean meets American kid video. I watched the actual movie and was it worth it? Hell yeah! All of the main actors are amazing! Hugh, Zac, Zendaya, Rebecca, and Loren (well, she wasn't the actor but she sung Never Enough-) and... I just loved it! A film I would watch again, for sure. But I'm currently on a Hobbit addiction, and it's sadly stopped me reading Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets (I'm only on page 60 :'<<).

This song touches me and my husband, this movie really does. It shows the journey of a business owner, and this is what we have been thru. Years ago in the recession my husbands business was going under, we had nothing, we were behind on our mortgage, we had just a few dollars in our checking account, my husband wanted to totally restructure the business. Most women would walk out, call there husband crazy, etc. But I told him I trusted him and we walked the tightrope together. Since then the business has grown and made about 10 million of dollars in 2018, with no signs of slowing down. Never doubt yourself, you never know how far you can go! But its all an adventure that comes with a breath taking view, were walking the tightrope, never sure how far we could fall.

Honestly love Charity's song, you can really hear the inspiration of "Tightrope" like that one comment says, the song randomly falls off and it's like falling off a tightrope and in the actual movie, you can see zendaya fall while they are practicing

@AmberAmbitions a year late, and definitely makes sense however again, the story isn’t meant to be realistic. It’s inspired and loosely based on PT. Barnum, But I think we all know the guy wasn’t a good person considering how times were as well. The movie is meant to be whimsical with a message.

One of the more understandable reasons that Critics did this, was because of the unrealistic portrayal of PT Barnum.

He was not a good man. He was, indeed, a very very awful person. Remember the kiss in Never Enough? In the real world, he forced himself on her. In the real world, he treated his coworkers like trash, treating them just like the freaks everyone told them they were. Let alone the several accounts of outright animal abuse.

It'd be like if a historian just crossed out the bit where Stalin knowingly let parts of Russia starve, calling attention to his victory over the Nazis, then ACTIVELY SAYING he never let anywhere starve ever.

Don't get me wrong, I love this movie to bits, but you can see why critics may have that concern.

This is one of my favorite movies ever. Idk how people can hate it. It never said based on a true story from what I saw so they can't claim that it was supposed to be historical. If those critics could see how much I watch the Sing Along DVD they would know how great this movie is. I swear i have watched it like 20 times.
