September 14th, 1993! And it was in heavy rotation on urban radio and even crossed over to pop stations!!
I was a sophomore at The Ohio State University and I had it in my Aiwa auto-reverse cassette player as I road my 1992 Trek Antelope 800 black and green mountain bike all over campus and was once, even to the hot spot hip hop clubs that used to be all over Ohio State University’s campus!!
But this song brings back the good ole days of my early 20s!! No pandemic, No Joe Biden lying about forgiving student loans in exchange for votes, No crazy homicides and crazy LGBTQ movement being shoved down straight men’s throats !!
This was a well written and produced song!
And definitely the song that had guys running to the dance floor to find a sexy female slow dance partner!!
I’m pretty sure this song caused a serious spike in the population, back then!!
