It's less bad fasta and more human nature being easily exploited.
Humans like patterns and repetition, and many pop songs have both in abundance, that and with overexposure people begin to acclimate and even begin to like songs that they normally would find detestable.
Ever wonder why pop is always shoved down our throats?
It's because brains with enough exposure can cling to it easily enough,
And that's ignoring the conventionally attractive people at the mic
Mix all that together with individual taste and a bit of conditioning and you have a,legion of undying fans at your neck and call.
