RIP the BIG MAN

Martin Platt

Just heard the sad news that we lost Manu to the dreaded COVID-19. RIP to an innovative musician.....loved this way back in '77

Frank O. Canterbury

I remember being blown away by this track all those years ago. RIP Maestro.

Rob Jones

What a shame.

Manu was a class act. This track, along with Parliament's "Tear The
Roof Off The Sucker" was a guaranteed floor filler back in 1976/77,
in those long-vanished nightclubs.

Probably one of the best Disco music track of the seventies ,and very underrated ,the sax is amazing ...

~ 1978 and still fresh in 2018. And, Soul Makossa endures still from 1972-73.
Honour our living legend from the Republic of Cameroon, Manu Dibango.
Cheers, DAVEDJ ~
