This song is so deep. Being castaway is being stranded on an island. Alone. You can also refer to yourself as feeling like a castaway to resemble being alone. But what makes the song heartwarming is that it’s surrounded with voices of multiple people. Not just one kid is singling alone, he is singing with the others. So even though you feel alone. There are other people who feel like that too and you can bond with them over that suffering.
