I should have said... why are there no exceptional actors(rushmore, darjeeling limited) who also are good musicians. Maybe I'm biased but...
Frank sinatra, Jlo, ice cube, and tupac were good musicians but bad actors.
Will smith, Ryan gosling and Jaime Foxx were good actors and bad musicians.
Jack Black's music was meant to be Ironic.
But then again it's definitely very subjective.
