I tried this when I was around AR9 and I gave up in the end.
I remember dying from coldness and then finding a camp. I thought there would be fire there so I ran straight to it. It was filled with lvl 30 fatui. I decided to immediately teleport away and never return. Have never went back to dragonspine ever since.

This comment makes me feel better about myself. I did the exact same thing. Then, a tutorial online said that if a big ice ??larachurl?? spawned nearby, you had to kill it before moving on with the quest. My characters were too under leveled. I used up so much healing and strengthening food, and the fight still took me half an hour. And now this video is telling me that all of that was pointless. ;)

I was adventure rank 10 when i got this mission. I already know that this mission is way out of my league because I havent unlocked this part of the map, yet. @Hisoka most of the time, the areas are pointed out and navigated by the quest itself. If the required thing is not found in the area, you always know that it is in the higher or lower platforms. If you are having hard time in going to the other side of a mountain, choosing other waypoints is also an option.

To do the quest or whatever you need to do in Dragonspine, i got a useful tip.

When your sheer cold gets high, (not max if you can)
You can press the character trials and wait for your sheer cold to go down before venturing off again

This works multiple times and very useful especially if your characters keep on freezing lmao

It would be easier to active one of the statutes of seven first so that u can always use it to teleport. To activate the statute u have to break one of the red crystals near the statue then go back to the statue and break the ice surrounding the statue. If u use the red crystal it’s a one hit to melt the ice. Then just follow this video starting at 7:30.

it helps if you have lifted the sky frost nail first. Then you can just jump from sky frost nail to the summit location instead of climbing the mountain

I found two notes from Joel's dad and couldn't reach the third 😂 It's so hard. I'm currently at level 14 and accidentally click Joel. I'm going to abandon the quest for now, my character is only 20 max level.

I accepted this quest at ar 20 then i step into the area the first thing i saw is my kaeya dying and then im now stock at ar 22 thinking if i should do that quest but no i was like live without ur papa joel
