Crust is typically played at a fast tempo with growled and screamed vocals and anarchist lyrics. The guitar playing is derived from speed metal, first wave black metal like Hellhammer, Celtic Frost or Venom and even thrash metal. The bass guitar features more prominently and there is more use of distortion, producing a "bassy" and "dirty" sound. Crust punk takes cues from the anarcho-punk of Crass and Discharge, the thrash metal of Celtic Frost and others, as well as more subtle elements of post-punk via Killing Joke. Crust punk has always remained a deeply underground form of music, although fans of the style are found worldwide. The early work of Amebix, Antisect, and Hellbastard constitute prototypical crust punk and despite the name "crust punk" it's actually a form of extreme metal just as much as hardcore.
Crust shares its name with the Crusty subculture that evolved from Anarcho-Punk, though this usage predates Crust Punk.

After years of searching I finally found it again. I used to listen to this as a kid before I had a youtube account and had it downloaded on my old nokia brick, I had searched every possible combination of keywords into google to try and find this only based on it not being English and being an absolutely banger heavy metal song.

It never blew up enough though. Even to this day I’m waiting for the next Metal album that can do what Kvelertak did in their first album.
Why were they the only band harnessing this rock n roll, punk and black/death metal style? It’s still never been fully realised and somehow they were the only band to actually do it and pull it off.
