the "think twice" moment from InI is always giving me goosebumps even 25 years later it's one of these too rare and too short moments of absolute perfection.
Not surprising Pete Rock used it. Axelrod is a like a muse to him

I discovered this the old-school way. I walked into a second-hand vinyl shop back in 1997 and heard a piece of music that literally stopped me in my tracks. It was like a mixture between John Barry, Coltrane (Song of the Underground Railroad) and the best hip hop. This was then followed by Mystic Brew by Ronnie Foster, and Tropicola by Stringtronics. The shop assistant had been blasting out Mighty Mellow Vol. 1. Suffice to say, I bought the album right there and then, and the majestic Holy Thursday remains a favourite to this day.

That is the BEST way to discover music - and I'll take those others as suggestions. We have a love for this in common, you mayve introduced me to my next favorites - Thank You. 🖤

Makes me wish I wasn't born in 1990 so I could have experienced this, but I'll take my discovery from GTA IV as a good way to find this later in life and still enjoy it just as much.
