Mannish Boy
Muddy Waters Lyrics

Oh, yeah
Oh, yeah

Everything gonna be alright this mornin'
Now, when I was a young boy
At the age of five
My mother said I was gonna be
The greatest man alive
But now I'm a man
I'm age twenty-one
I want you to believe me, honey
We having lots of fun

I'm a man (yeah)
I spell M
A, child
N
That represent man
No B
O, child
Y
That spell mannish boy
I'm a man
I'm a full-grown man
I'm a man
I'm a rollin' stone
I'm a man
I'm a hoochie-coochie man

Sittin' on the outside
Just me and my mate
I'm made to move
Come up two hours late
Wasn't that a man?
I spell M
A, child
N
That represesnt man
No B
O, child
Y
That spell mannish boy
I'm a man
I'm a full-grown man
I'm a man
I'm a rolllin' stone
I'm a man
Full-grown man
Oh, well
Oh, well

@jimmyplayz Hey back- Every picture proof you'd need has been painted by the hand of God himself on the canvas that is the earth, man, creatures and cosmos.
This is living proof -that no man has excuse.
See Louis Giglio, "Indescribable" for the mathematics.
Man has not seen, nor imagined the things which await him eternally.
4 questions must be answered, with Logic and Congruence before one is entitled to atheistic worldview.
1) Origin?
2) Meaning?
3) Morality?
4) Destiny?
Best of all wishes to you and all who seek. Yes, you can know! Science itself is rounding the bend. Also watch documentary, "Is Genesis History?"
The writing is in the stratification of the fossils.
Good hunting and hit me back on this thread😃

Everythin', everythin', everythin's gonna be alright this mornin'
Ooh yeah, whoaw

My mother said I was, gonna be the greatest man alive
But now I'm a man, way past 21
Want you to believe me baby,
I had lot's of fun
I'm a man
I spell mmm, aaa child, nnn
That represents man
No B, O child, Y
That mean mannish boy
I'm a man
I'm a full grown man
I'm a man
I'm a natural born lovers man
I'm a man
I'm a rollin' stone
I'm a man
I'm a hoochie coochie man

Sittin' on the outside, just me and my mate
You know I'm made to move you honey,
Come up two hours late
Wasn't that a man
I spell mmm, aaa child, nnn
That represents man
No B, O child, Y

Man

Man
I'm a rollin' stone
Man-child
I'm a hoochie coochie man

The line I shoot will never miss
When I make love to a woman,
She can't resist
I think I go down,
To old Kansas Stew
I'm gonna bring back my second cousin,
That little Johnny Cocheroo
All you little girls,
Sittin'out at that line
I can make love to you woman,
In five minutes time
Ain't that a man
I spell mmm, aaa child, nnn
That represents man
No B, O child, Y
That mean mannish boy
Man
I'm a full grown man
Man
I'm a natural born lovers man
Man
I'm a rollin' stone
I'm a man-child
I'm a hoochie coochie man
Well, well, well, well
Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry
Don't hurt me, don't hurt me child
Don't hurt me, don't hurt, don't hurt me child
Well, well, well, well

Yeah

For those who are wondering, the guy in the back yelling "YEAH!" is a blues musician himself. His name is Wild Bill "Hype Man" Williams. He spent a lot of time with Muddy Waters hyping him up at shows but also opening for him as well.

Many don't know, but Hype Man Williams had his own albums and songs. After a while him and Muddy Waters went separate ways and that's when Hype Man Williams started writing his own songs.

Check out Wild Bill Hype Man's classic blues hits:

1. YEAH!
2. YEAH! (Extended)
3. YEAH! revisited
4. No
5. I Got The Blues But I Gotta Yell Yeah!
6. Yeah 2!
7. Chuh!
8. Yeah! (Techno remix)
9. Mannish Yeah! (Mannish Boy guitar riff but without Muddy Waters singing)
10. Duh dun dun da dun
11. Yeah 3!
12. Yeah! (Psychedelic blues rock version)
13. The Rolling Yeah's (featuring Rolling Stones)
14. Yeah Boyyy! (Yeah! remix featuring Flavor Flav of Public Enemy)

Muddy Waters – vocals; guitar
Bob Margolin – guitar
Pinetop Perkins – piano
James Cotton – harmonica
Willie "Big Eyes" Smith – drums
Charles Calmese – bass guitar
Johnny Winter – guitar; miscellaneous screams, shouts, yells, & affirmations

*This is the 1977 version, produced by Johnny Winter. Muddy Waters recorded the original version in 1955, but he re-recorded the song numerous times during his lifetime with various producers -- each take slightly different, but ALL bad-ass!!!
