And everything is going to the beat
And everything is going to the beat
And everything is going

And you said, it was like fire around the brim
Burning solid, burning thin the burning rim
Like stars burning holes right through the dark
Flicking fire like saltwater into my eyes
You were one inch from the edge of this bed
I dragged you back a sleepyhead, sleepyhead

They couldn't think of something to say the day you burst
With all their lions, with all their might and all their thirst
They crowd your bedroom like some thoughts wearing thin
Against the walls, against your rules, against your skin
My beard grew down to the floor and out through the doors
Of your eyes, begonia skies like a sleepyhead, sleepyhead

You wake up early, it's summer. parents are gone to work. The worries of homework are no longer until September. Nobody is outside to play basketball with yet. There it is, sitting under the TV, the PS3. You turn it on and see that person on your friends list that made you laugh so hard you had snot running from your nose. You turn little big planet on and he joins your pod and you play and play and create and create. Now youve grown up, the times of lbp are gone. But you still revisit this song. Just to get a taste of that summer. Just to feel like there are no worries. Even if it just for a few minutes. Thanks Media Molecule. Thanks passionpit. Thank you that one guy that showed me how to make a really small object on the moon without it distorting the shape.

I come back to this song sometimes, when I'm feeling melancholy or lonely or just wistful. I didn't know what it was about it at first, but a few months later I think I figured it out.

It's this comment. I think about this comment when I hear this song. When I see a lbp character or meme. When I even think about this song. It's a snapshot of a life I didn't live, about a game I didn't play, on the video of a song I didn't listen to until years after it stopped playing. I think about it sometimes. I feel it sometimes.

Thanks, Austin. For sharing something with so many people. For making me think, feel, and remember. Somehow, some way, your youtube comment made my life a little better.
