Most of the Time by The Magic Numbers talks about a relationship that the singer is struggling with, as he thinks about leaving most of the time. He hears his partner calling someone else, which bothers him. He admits that he has been thinking too much and has lost touch with his partner's body. Despite this, both of them swear that they never mean to hurt each other or desert one another. He tries to change and become a better partner for her, but he does not know why he keeps his feelings and thoughts inside. However, he knows that his partner is just his type and he never wishes to give up on her.
The repeated phrase "Most of the Time" signifies how the singer's mind wanders but he still wants to make the relationship work. The chorus "I never will give up on you" is quite hopeful that the singer will try everything to keep the relationship afloat. The line "But I don't know why I keep it all inside" indicates that the singer may have trouble articulating his true feelings and communicating with his partner.
