Just when 80's R&B was sounding a bit tired, along came Teddy Riley, Gene Griffin, LA & Babyface and Gerald Levert & Marc Gordon. Exciting times I will never forget! Then again in the mid 90's, we were blessed with Timbaland & Missy Elliott although it took a while for me to accept the new beats! I think Kandi & Shekspere were onto something special too. They must have some greatness gathering dust in their vault!
