Ex: "Rihanna had the best clapbacks on Twitter."
"Hollaback" from the AAVE word "holla" means to attempt get someone's attn that you are attracted to and romantically interested in.
Ex: "My boyfriend's brother tried to holla at me, but I didn't hollaback"
Maybe Gwen took creative license because hollaback sounds better in verse than clapback.
