Love Me Do
The Beatles Lyrics

Love, love me do
You know I love you
I'll always be true
So please, love me do
Whoa, love me do

Love, love me do
You know I love you
I'll always be true
So please, love me do
Whoa, love me do

Someone to love
Somebody new
Someone to love
Someone like you

Love, love me do
You know I love you
I'll always be true
So please, love me do
Whoa, love me do

Love, love me do
You know I love you
I'll always be true
So please, love me do
Whoa, love me do
Yeah, love me do
Whoa, oh, love me do

Hello goodbye

Dont let me down
Here comes the sun
While my guitar gently weeps
Just to name a few.
They were too succesful!
All of that betwin 1961 and 1970
All amazing records

+ Haaken Bailey Animation,

What I loved about those days in music, was that bands entered the studio to record singles (an a few songs that would be outtakes, or B-Sides), then after 6-8 months they'd usually have enough material for an album (which quite often meant they would have 2 albums per year), the albums were not planned, well they were planned, but they were written and recorded in a more organic way.

These days a band will go into the studio with 2-3 song ideas, then write most of the album in the studio, usually with an expected release set by the record company, an maybe if bands went back to the old ways then the thing that made music extra special at one time would come back.

P.S. Yes, the Beatles later became a band that would spend most of their time in the studio with the idea of making album after album, but back then the Beatles ate, slept and breathed music i.e. if they didn't feel something they would throw it away (an they could afford to spend as long as they wanted), where these days (at least in the album recording process) it's treated more like a 9-5 job i.e. music should be created organically (not by someone looking at their watch).

EDIT: Sorry if I'm rambling, but my Cousin who is a Studio Engineer invited me to visit her place of work (this was during a Work Experience placement in High School), an as nice at it was to experience being in a recording studio (something very few people get to experience), it was people in suits and ties, you weren't allowed to smoke, drinks weren't allowed anywhere near any recording equipment, food wasn't allowed, it just didn't look like how the experience should have looked, maybe I'm wrong, but when I look at old photos of Beatles at Abbey Road I see cigarettes in mouths, I see half eaten sandwiches on top of stools, I see Paul Mccartney lying on a Sofa while Ringo Starr plays drums.

I once met Ringo in a hotel. I went up to him and said "Hey look, it's the guy who played tambourine on Love Me Do!". He then proceeded to throw me out the window and while I fell he jumped on top me and beat me to death mid-air. Nice man.

you're right. ringo was on tambourine. andy white was on drums on the above version of this track. p.s. i love you, too; and ringo was on maracas on that track. george martin had initially doubted ringo's abilities because he couldn't do a roll. ringo thought he was gonna get the pete best treatment. ironically, the british single release of love me do featured ringo's version but the american single release had white's version. the rarities album was the only american release with ringo's version.

If true, then it sounds like you're just like the dope that stood outside a Chinese cinema, yelling out the ending to 'The Avengers' movie, as people were waiting on line to buy tickets for the show. Obviously, he had his ass handed back to him. Good job!
