i was there in person both nights. by far my favorite concerts ever. also one of my favorite songs they played in arlington. and even though cliff died 30+ years before i was born, i still get teary eyed when the guys talk about him.

thank you metallica for:
1) coming to texas
2) playing all of the songs that i cried to during the concert(orion, nothing else matters, one, fade to black, call of ktulu)
3) staying together through everything that’s happened over the past (almost) 42 years
4) making songs that get me through life, give me something to bond with my friends over, and most importantly that make me happy

This Friday concert was crazy! But the Sunday concert may have been one of the craziest and greatest metallic concerts in the past few decades!!! You really don’t realise how big this m72 tour stage is until you watch the fly around at 1:22 and love the “pulsing purple on stage” tube lights at 1:44 and once again thank you for m72incinima even though it wasn’t live in the uk on the day you played Texas but it felt like I was there in person who ever was in charge of creating those amazing camera shots/ angles you did a fantastic job and 7:15 another epic full stage angle and I love at the end James gives cliff a shout out

This was my 4th Metallica show. I was hope hope HOPING they would play this, but wasn't banking on it, as I had not heard it at a concert before. The absolute chills through my body when I began noticing the ringing of that bass open E. I was relatively close to where they camped for Orion, so it was great and really made my night above and beyond!

Great combination with Orion/Call of Ktulu on both days of the show.
Maybe they should swap next year one or another of these 2 songs on some few shows here and there with To Live is To Die (that would do a great replacement for Orion) and Suicide & Redemption (that would do a great replacement for Call of Ktulu). Just changing one of the two songs on one night, in order to create the surprise among the crowd which by now, is pretty aware of wich songs they are to expect to hear live...
Pulling Teeth is also a great instrumental (that Trujillo masters perfectly) that could be input and it also serves as a killer intro to any upcoming heavy song
