Cara Mia
Jay & The Americans Lyrics

Cara Mia why must we say goodbye?
Each time we part my heart wants to die
Darling hear my prayer (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Cara Mia fair
I'll be your love 'til the end of time ('til the end of)
Of ('til the end of)
Time (Cara Mia mine)
Cara Mia mine
Cara Mia mine
Cara Mia mine

Cara Mia why must we say goodbye?
Each time we part my heart wants to die
Darling hear my prayer (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Cara Mia fair
I'll be your love 'til the end of time ('til the end of)
Of ('til the end of)
Time (Cara Mia mine)
Cara Mia mine
Cara Mia mine
Cara Mia mine

(Oh oh oh oh oh) ah-ah-ah
(Oh oh oh oh oh)
(Each time we part my heart wants to die) die
Darling hear my prayer (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Cara Mia fair
I'll be your love 'til the end of time ('til the end of)
Of ('til the end of)
Time (Cara Mia mine)
Cara Mia mine
Cara Mia mine
Cara Mia mine

Mine (Cara Mia mine)
(Cara Mia mine) Cara Mia mine

@Don Reinke please do not take this as an insult, you're an electronics geek. I have 45s and I have LPS but I don't have anything to play it with. But that's okay, I think I'm going to start looking at thrift stores just like you did. I'm glad to hear you guard those possessions because it's part of your/our musical historical past. We had the best music!

Don Reinke

@Katie-did Ellis Not only do I have four 33/45 turntables I have a Pioneer SX1280 receiver and a quadraphonic Marantz receiver ( just got that one at a thrift store for FOUR DOLLARS---yeah it works ) to run them through...Oh, and a couple hundred vinyl albums and a stack of 45s.
I guarded my audio stuff above everything else.
Ive got everything from early Beatles to Iron Maiden on vinyl

Dante Rosenberg

@Michael Martinez it's hard to get music out of your and my head even but i agree

One of the best songs ever performed by a great vocalist. We’ll miss you.

AM radio at its best. No special sound equipment just good music, of course if you had a reverb button, you had to push it.

Charles Soukup

@jeff fishman ya know I never thought of that, and you're prolly right. Now yodelling I rather fancy, but never cared for the straight out plain mail falsetto tho I know it's been popular.

John James

@Charles Soukup The Four Seasons first charted in 62. This came out in 65 and Jay obviously was not a terrible male falsetto.
