I didn't like Tejano music until recently, and this one was the one to break the mold.
I mean, I heard it before here and there (going over to my Uncle's while he was jammin' out to 99.1 Kick FM (I think) when he was working on his truck and also hearing it play on KNON 89.3... At the time I used to groan when this 'shit' would play in-between Latin freestyle, hardhouse, Crunk/Trap, and Cumbia mixes.
Years later and this (all of a sudden) just clicked with me. I was working when this played in the background on my co-worker's Pandora Playlist, and actually 'listened' to it.
I'm still new to Tejano music, but my favorites thus far are:

Joe Lopez, Emilio,Selina and the Quintanillas, Hobbs, David Lee, Ram, Jay Perez, Salgado, Pulido, Shelly, La Mafia and many more, Thank you and your fellow Tejano artists for reviving the most explosive and entertaining Mexican Music in history. Ya'll's music in the 80's,90's brought back a beautiful side of Mexican culture to America. You made us proud of our Mexican heritage. Hispanics in their 30's and 40's today were not listening to Mexican music prior to you. They weren't dancing to Mexican music, speaking Spanish,and not dressing in cowboy hats,jeans and boots. You saved our culture from becoming extinct. You changed our culture forever. Thank you for filling our hearts, minds and souls with your incredible music.

Esta canción me genera mucha nostalgia porque la conocí en mis primeros viajes de Primera Plus (2010) en los tiempos que comenzaban a equipar los autobuses con canales de audio individual.
