Slightly disagree. This is one of his easier pieces to play compared to others I have tried. Just make sure if you're using a tab book to look at Joe's live version. There are errata in a fair number of transcriptions of this. And Cryin is one of the worst for needing rewrites to perform it. Stretches where they don't need to be and string crossing which should be stretches.

Unfortunately half of this generation would probably say they don't like this kind of music. I'm sure there are people in this generation like me, who likes this music. This is real music. Passion and emotion. What ever happened to that anyways? I feel bad for the people that don't know about this type of music, they are really missing out. I think this quote by Tolkien best describes this song.
"And all the host laughed and wept, and in the midst of their merriment and tears the clear voice of the minstrel rose like silver and gold, and all men were hushed. And he sang to them...until their hearts, wounded with sweet words, overflowed, and their joy was like swords, and they passed in thought out to regions where pain and delight flow together and tears are the very wine of blessedness."
@wei446
can you please tell me in which book this quote can be found?
