My mother was my best friend. We did everything together. In the early 50's she saved up money to buy a Mantovani record album. That was my first time of listening to his music. It will live on forever by people like y'all & my momma! ❤️

Subtile and implizit but there's lot of pain in your words, too❤.

When I awoke this morning, "Charmaine" was buzzing around in my head! I've no idea why! My Dad was very musical and would sing along with Mantovani's heavenly strings. Dad taught me to love music of all kinds. He is in Heaven now (died September 1994). One day we'll sing it together❤

My Mother loved this song. She passed March '83. I bought a car later that year or early '84, in the glove box was a cassette of Mantovani's greatest hits. Was night as I slipped the tape in the player pushed play, and this started. The wipers did not help me see.
