In José José's song "Almohada," he sings about finding solace in his dreams and his imaginary world with the love of his life. The song begins with José José getting excited because it's time to dream again, and that's the only time he feels close to his lover. He describes how the wind carries them both to the sky, and he promises never to let her go and forgets that he's without her in reality. The chorus talks about how when he wakes up, her absence kills him, and he wishes he could move to the world of his pillow to see her face and feel her fragility. In that imaginary world, he would make her feel the opposite of when he left her, and everything that exists would be hers.
In the second verse, he promises not to interfere if he ever sees her in reality, and he promises to meet her again in the same place and same dream. He wants to make her feel loved, and he knows that in his dreams, he can do that. He ends the verse with the realization that he has to wait again for the darkness to come so he can see her once more. He wants to take everything that exists in that imaginary world and give it all to to her.
