I looked it up. It doesn’t seem like EDTA is carcinogenic, but IS “cytotoxic and weakly genotoxic” according to Rebecca S Lanigan et al. on the National Center for Biotechnology Information’s website.

"Cytotoxic" means 'toxic to living cells'. It is a broad term that can encompass any number of ill effects. That said, it is easy to say EDTA is not carcinogenic because it does not directly cause cancer. However it DOES hinder your body's ability to fight cancer, which in my book ends in the same place. Does this make sense?

3 egg yolks. Put in a blender and SLOWLY drizzle oil until it emulsifies. Add whatever spices you desire. You’re welcome

EDTA sodium isn't like free EDTA so please educate yourself on the rypes of EDTA .

In my experience:
1. Telling someone to "educate yourself" is ignorant, and makes sure that no one who matters listens to your opinion.
2. If telling someone to "educate yourself" it is a good idea to spell words correctly and check your work, otherwise YOU look ignorant and uneducated. I am sure you will go now and edit "rypes" to "types" so you don't look dumb, but I'll leave it here for posterity. I will leave it to you to discover the other blatant, uneducated error.
3. When telling someone "educate yourself" it is a good idea for YOU to be adequately educated on the subject matter at hand. Which you aren't.

For everyone else, in the end it really doesn't matter what is in food. It only matters how that food interacts with your body before, during, and after digestion. EDTA reacts exactly as it is supposed to react (and this is in part the reason it is used in mayo, breads, and food/cosmetics in general), by bonding with active metals and rendering them inert. The challenge in your body is that active trace metals are supposed to be there, and EDTA removes some of them as well. You then have a deficiency and that is not a good thing.

Ah, that's why we are emulating the Mediterranean diet with its oils in it. Well, OK!!! Some seed oils have concerns, some extraction techniques affect the quality, presentation and by-product. But you can't say ALL SEED OILS ARE BAD.
