Never felt alive
Call the chants inside
(We will wait for this, we will wait for this)
Lean into my side
Never felt alive
Call the chants inside
(We will wait for this, we will wait for this)
Lean into my side
Never felt alive
Call the chants inside
We will wait for this
We will wait for this
We will wait for this
We will
Lean into my side
Never felt alive
Call the chants inside
(We will wait for this, we will wait for this)
Lean into my side
Never felt alive
We will wait for this
We will wait for this
We will wait for this
We will wait for this
Lean into my side
Never felt alive
Call the chants inside
Lean into my side
Never felt alive
Call the chants inside
You see right through me
The lyrics to "Divinity" by Porter Robinson feat. Amy Millan speak to the idea of finding new life and meaning through a deep connection with someone else. The lines "Lean into my side, Never felt alive, Call the chants inside" imply that the person singing has never truly felt alive until they meet the person they are singing to. The "chants" they refer to may represent their own inner desires or longings that they can finally embrace and express freely with their partner.
The repetition of the chorus "We will wait for this" emphasizes a sense of anticipation and patience. It suggests that the love and connection between the two people is worth waiting for, and that both parties are willing to put in the effort and time required to make the relationship work.
The final line of the song, "You see right through me", is a vulnerable admission that the person singing is completely open and exposed to their partner. They are willing to be seen for who they truly are, flaws and all, in order to forge a deep and meaningful connection.
Overall, "Divinity" is a song about finding love and meaning in life through a deep connection with someone else, and being willing to wait and work for it.

I know this comment was 7 months ago, but if your still trying to find deeper meaning in media/life, think about the future,
all the jaw-dropping things created, how far we've come as human beings,
how only in the past 100 years have we gained the ability to talk to eachother on the internet,
how it's brought so many of us together, to porter robinson, to every person on the planet.
How I'm able to reach out to you, a complete stranger, is crazy to me. Nothing like this has ever happened in human history. When asking the question, "How do I find deeper meanings in things", you are already thinking deeply into meaning.
To enjoy life deeply, you don't even need to think deeply. Just live, because this is our only chance we get,
and I think we get to live in a pretty fuckin awesome time.

This album hasn't aged a bit for me, 5 years after it's release. This is so rare for Electronic Albums.

I feel like there’s not so many artists like that, personally for me it’s artists like Porter, DeadMau5, flume, Flying Lotus and the leaving ep by Skrillex that are timeless
