Yeah-yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah
Oh (we'll be forever loving Jah)
(We'll be forever loving Jah)
Some, they say, see them
Walking up the street
They say we're going wrong
To all the people we meet
But-a we won't worry
We won't shed no tears
We found a way
To cast away the fears, forever, yeah
(We'll be forever loving Jah) we'll be forever
(We'll be forever loving Jah) forever, yes
And forever (we'll be forever loving Jah) there'll be no end
So, old man river
Don't cry for me
I've got a running stream
Of love, you see
So, no matter what stages
Oh stages, stages, stages they put us through
We'll never be blue
No matter what rages
Oh rages, changes, rages they put us through
We'll never be blue
We'll be forever, yeah
(We'll be forever loving Jah) we'll be forever
(We'll be forever loving Jah) forever, and ever
Yes, and forever (we'll be forever loving Jah) 'cause there is no end
'Cause only a fool
Lean upon, lean upon his own misunderstanding, oh, yeah
And then what has been hidden
From the wise and the prudent, been revealed to the babe and the suckling
In everything, in every day, I say, yeah
(We'll be forever loving Jah) we'll be forever
(We'll be forever loving Jah)
'Cause just like a tree
Planted, planted by the rivers of water
That bringeth forth fruits
Bringeth forth fruits in due season
Everything in life got its purpose
Find its reason
In every season, forever, yeah
(We'll be forever loving Jah) we'll be forever
(We'll be forever loving Jah) on and on and on
(We'll be forever loving Jah) we'll be forever, yes, yes, we'll be forever
(We'll be forever loving Jah)
The Bob Marley & the Wailers song "Forever Loving Jah" is a tribute to the Rastafarian principle of Jah, which symbolizes the divine power and presence in the world. Throughout the lyrics, Marley and the Wailers express their belief that one's faith in Jah will provide a running stream of love that guides them through tough times. The song begins with the band chanting "Woah-oh, ya-ya-ya-ya, oy-oh," which sets a meditative tone and invokes a spiritual feeling. The repetition of "we'll be forever loving Jah" throughout the song emphasizes the enduring nature of the love and guidance that Jah provides.
Marley and the Wailers acknowledge criticism from others who believe they are going down the wrong path, but instead of worrying or being fearful, they cast away their fears with their faith in Jah. They also suggest that it's not just a matter of rejecting external criticism, but also of avoiding "lean[ing] upon [one's] own misunderstanding." Instead, they view themselves as wise and humble by being receptive to the teachings and guidance of Jah.
The song also makes a reference to the cyclical nature of life, with the metaphor of a tree planted by the river. The tree represents the steadfastness of faith in Jah that guides Marley and the Wailers, while the river symbolizes the flow of life with its ups and downs. The fruits the tree bears in due season represent the positive outcomes that come from having faith, and the fact that "everything in life got its purpose" further implies that Jah's presence is in everything.

We Africans have our own origin stories....that we are proud of and identify with ....
.... as do native Australians, Polynesians, Amazonians, Native Americans, etc.
I don't ascribe to being child of Israel even though I am a so called Semetic East African and my grandmother's village is named after a Jew who settled there. I respect that but I also understand Israel was Goddess worshipping, polytheistic, believers in Lilith (Adam's 1st equal wife) and most importantly non-believers in usary and interest and how Western "civilization" Babylon made them the symbol and scapegoats of banking ironically & cruelly since their religion EXPRESSLY forbade that.
The Bible was written to forgive debts (Leviticus 25) but Westerners were the first civilization to exclude that rule (the ignoring of this rule took down/chanted down Babylon) according to the economist/futurist Michael Hudson.
That's why Western civ punished the remaining Jews who converted to Islam that STILL prohibits interest making on money.

Amor!
Viva Bob!

At that time Jesus said,
“I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned,
and revealed them to little children
