I love it when that happens. I remember when me and my friend hadnt seen each other in years and we met up one sunny but quiet chilled sunday afternoon, we had a pint and shared an ecstasy . Its so much more chilled when u do half and as we walked into our fave bar in town "lay down sally" was on the jukebox and it just fit the moment perfectly. Never really rated that song before then but now it always reminds me of that moment

There are soo many touching and poignant instances in "Legion", filled with humanity and love...and this song is an example of that! A beautiful song combined with the footage from the episode (Season 3 Ep. 4) creates an astonishing and quite powerful moment!

22 Over Soon sounds a bit like someone about to die and all their memories flashing before them in a glitchy and dreamlike fashion. Then 10 deathbrest is the cathartic journey of the soul after it leaves the body, which takes it to a waiting room type limbo where 715 Creeks is the soundtrack. I haven’t delved into these lyrics too much, but the album’s got this beautifully desolate vibe about it

I love the ambiguity of Justin's lyrics. I haven't read the lyrics in depth, but for me, the repeating line "it might be over soon," is a reminder to live in the moment, because life can be cut short at any moment. But another person interpreted it as a gentle reminder that "this too shall pass," talking about an episode of depression. I think it works either way.

What I understood in this masterpiece was that Justin can't find anywhere to be safe or anything to trust, and he's just about ready to give up. But that little hope in him is telling him "it might be over soon". Whether the thing he's talking about is a deity or not he's telling it "there I find you marked in constellations". Justin yearns to discover things "as I may stand up with a vision". But remember to him, it all might be over soon.
