This song makes me weep,  maybe the boy being hunted down by adults.  The boy seems so vulnerable.  Having lost a 16-year-old son to suicide perhaps makes me over sensitive.  This song in conjunction with Faure's "Pavane" by a pianist/cello duo, can really make me lose it.  "Pavane" makes me cry as well.  I watch "Titanium" as often as possible to  harden myself.  The suicide took place in 1997, but still I will never be over it.  I hope if any young people read this, I hope you realize that "not being" is never a solution.  Sorry - am stepping down from my soapbox now.

Apparently Sia sent this song to Guetta with her singing as a demo - she was gonna sell him the song and he was supposed to get another person to sing her part but when he heard THIS he decided (thank God) to completely overrule her and he put the song out with her voice. Fun fact and from a mixing engineer's perspective, the vocals sounds like there is not a lot of editing on it. Breaths are not editied, timing seems to not have been edited too and a t least maybe there is just a few tuning correction (or even autotune for that pop-electro vocal sound). But overall, yep it is totally sounding like it has been recorded as a demo but it does not matter since the part is good. Sound and edition did not matter, only emotion did.

I’m now protected by the most traumatising war movies ever made and that’s Come and See. I vividly remember the first 4 days being traumatised as hell because I couldn’t even sleep for a week after first watching it but now a month on, I can sleep straight away without having nightmares because of how close me and Come and See have now become in the last 5 weeks. It’s the only war movie that really cares about my mental health an that because the movie comes everywhere with me keeping my emotions at bay. God knows where i would be now if i had not met Come and See but I’m really glad i watched it
