@Peggy Potts I think part of the problem is giving up our individuality. But then again, this is just one of many things that go wrong. One that goes right only to go wrong, i think, is sharing a space.

Having the person close, being free to explore another mind, is magical.

Yet, in this space. We don't leave room to be ourselves. The mystery of them, when we first saw them, motivated us to seek them, it was a powerful feeling.

Is this where we go wrong? The problem with removing the mystery. Is that we slowly fade what brought ua close together. Its only naturally then, to think of the other as part of us. Isn't that what made us seek someone? Only having ourselves to explore this world pushed us to find someone beyond us. That understood this, whatever this is, a little different from us.

Years ago, about a week before I had to put my very beloved cat to sleep I fell asleep with her on my chest. I had a very powerful dream that we were floating in space and there was nothing but love everywhere. Two weeks after she passed, I was getting a tattoo of her and this song came on in the tattoo parlor. While I was getting the tattoo of her. I vaguely knew it but didn't know the lyrics, all I could hear was "I will love you til I die and I will love you all the time". I searched for the song but couldn't find it. My dad and I used to listen to this song together when we were driving to visit my mom in the hospital. I would try to hold back my tears. I was a scared and lonely 12 year old kid and my mom's battle with with brain cancer was hard to understand. 2 years later I listened to this song as they lowered my dad's casket into the ground. He was a stuntman and he used to work for Evel Knievel, testing his bikes before big jumps. He would do the jumps first to make sure they were safe and let Evel come in and get all the glory. After a while the old man said, "To hell with that. I want the credit I deserve." So one afternoon, he set out to jump ten milk trucks. He nailed the take-off, but when he landed, something terrible happened. His front tire exploded like a cannonball, and his handle bars went straight through his head. Blood was everywhere. His teeth were ground down to a powder, and the front of his face exploded out the back of his skull. He died instantly, the next day.

As soon as the song started up, I’m immediately flashed back to Tech stating “Consequences David” and a montage of Tom Cruises character from Vanilla Sky with people at his funeral. This song definitely helped make the scenes more emotional and actually lead to me to tear up, just thinking about it gives me nostalgia and sadness

This is my favourite song of all-time. I heard it when I was a teenager, when the album came out, and it just smashed me to pieces. Back then I was very precious about music and I'd stop listening to some of my favourite songs because I didn't want to 'wear them out'. Slowly over time I relaxed that rule for all my favourite songs. Except this one. I still don't listen to this song, at least not all the way through. I hear Kate Radley's(Ashcroft's?) voice, then the shimmering chords come in, and that's enough for me. I want to keep this as the one truly special song I have.

por mais de um ano eu achava q era o damon albran q cantava essa musica. Sempre escutei ela em particular, nunca fui afundo pra descobrir c era uma parceria, projeto a parte, ou somente escutar o resto do álbum, mas qnd fui atrás descobri rapidamente descobri q damon n tem caralhadas nenhuma haver com essa música. Foi um momento bem kek w mind blowing, a voz de jason e albran são muito parecidas, minha ignorancia me fez acreditar em uma longa e falsa ilusão.

the first time I heard this song was16 years ago. I had seperated from my wife and was driving to work. I was listening to the college radio station and was instantly drawn into the music. I pulled over and cried. years later, I laughed how such a simple song with a simple message could affec me so. I think that there will always be love for the one we married. But truthfully, I wouldn't want to be married to him again. It's one thing to date and have your own space but living with someone can sometimes ruin things. What was once cute is now annoying! ppl take each other for granted (men moreso..sorry!) and we think we give more than the other...why can't we just see the good in each other and stay in love? ppl suck..

Just hearing this again since the last time I've seen Vanilla Sky which was in 2002, and I am shocked because of the nostalgia. My brother put this song on my MP3 player and I would always skip it because the introduction kind of gave me a weird feeling and the song made me sad. The times since.
