The Girl Is In Love
Sugar Minott Lyrics

Remember when, when we were young
When we were young, girl, yeah
I watched you as you hurried by me, mmm baby
On your way going to school, oh my darling
And I'm always there to run behind you, mmm, mmm, mmm
With my true love ever to remind you
And itโฒs true
Yes it's true, yes it's true, girl
Weโฒre both together in this love affair
You and me, baby
Makes no difference who you are, no, no
You could be rich or you could be poor
Well I know - love is sure to come your way
Some day, girl
Some day, girl
Some day, ooh yeah
Fancy brows and fancy lashes, oh no, baby
Donโฒt frighten me no, not at all, oh no no no
But the naturality of you, woman, mmm, mmm, mmm
I tell you, oh, babe it's got me going wild
And itโฒs true
Yes it's true, and I know
Weโฒre both together in this love affair
You and me, baby
Makes no difference who you are
No, no, no no
You could be rich or you could be poor
Well I know - love is sure to come your way
Some day, girl
It got to come your way, girl
Some day, oh well
(.)
Remember when, when we were young
Roaming in the streets
Holding hands together
Mmm, we used to meet
When we were young, mmm, mmm
You see!
We're both together in this love affair
You and me, baby
Makes no difference who you are
No, no, girl
You could be rich or you could be poor
Well I know love is sure to come your way
Some day, girl
It got to come your way, girl
Mmm, some day
Love is coming your way, girl
Today, girl
Love is coming your way
Today
Love is coming your way
Today, got to come your way
Love is coming your way, girl

During my early years away from Jamaica and the people who instilled joyful values in me, Sugar Monot's music was my main source of spiritual and emotional strength. Jah blesses Sugar Minott's heart and delivered powerful the words of his mouth.

@Rich Dollabill I finally traded that car in in 1999. She gave me a lot of good years and I drove her to the ground. Believe me. It was the entire Suffererโs Choice album. My cousin David has it on vinyl and made me a cassette. Respect!
