This will forever remind me of my late sister Marla, who played this album all of the time for me when I was little in the 70's. I miss you Marla!! ❤

My brother Peter bought this in 1974, I was 9 he was 16 ... I was mesmerized by it. I was a kid then, so I had no idea of Claude Debussy! that came much later on. I remembered Hot Butter in 1972 again with Sparks in 74, as that got me into electronic music with Kraftwerk entering the scene as well. So I thank Isao Tomita (r.i.p.) for influencing me into electronic music and the classical music of Claude Debussy.

Still sounds as good as when I first heard it way back in the 1970s.

Same here. My father introduced me to this. One of the few things I thank him for.

Bought this album in 1974 as it was recommended to me by my hash dealer.
50 years late I am playing along with electric guitar and synthesizer.
Tomita, thanks for introducing me to Debussy and Holst.
Emerson, Lake and Palmer had already introduced me to Mussorgsky and Copland.
Wish you'd done The Rite Of Spring instead of Firebird, though.
Say hi to Keith and Bob for me :)
@JimSmithInChiapas
I bought it in '74, too.

What about the hash! 😶

When I managed a shoe store in Culver City, California in 1980, I had this softly playing on the store’s audio system….customers loved it on first hearing
