To me, Cosmo Canyon is one of the most perfect songs ever created. It hits every note, every beat, every phrase at exactly the right time to ensure maximum enjoyment of the song. The build-ups are ended with the exact right amount of crescendo, at a moment when your soul has been teased for exactly the right amount of time - one bar longer than you expect the first time you hear it. It's genius. Pure and simple.

Plus, the FF7 Remake already hints that Zack is alive somewhere. So why not do the same for Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie?

Wedge and Biggs ARE alive in the remake. They both survived the plate collapse. Biggs is shown at the end of the game lying in a bed at the orphanage. So I'm only assuming Jesse is alive too. Just like Zach is alive now too. I think that's all dumb though as much as I like them all they need to be dead.
Mark my words I guarantee that they will ruin it and Aerith will not die in rebirth or part 3.

Yes I know that they live AFTER the game. I'm saying in terms of how their fates would be AFTER part 2 and 3 are over. And of course, it will hurt a lot of players if Aerith lives beyond Rebirth or Part 3 because her death has the most impact in the original story. But it's most likely the writers might expand her role a little more to some degree.

If many players are wanting FF7 Remake to remain true to the original, then the writers should also kill off other side characters like Roche the motorcycle guy, Kyrie Canaan, Madam M, Leslie, Nayo, and such at some point because all these side characters that played a role in Remake, never even existed in the original story. Roche seems like he will most likely die at some point because his obsession with Cloud that will eventually lead to a final duel between the two and result his death.
