They recorded five songs live in a living room in Somerville, MA in May 2009 that became '[album artist=[The] Slowest Runner [in all the world]]The Flophouse Sessions'. The band released their debut full-length album '[album artist=[The] Slowest Runner [in all the world]]We, Burning Giraffes' in June 2010. Both releases are available for free download at their bandcamp.

Ian Temple - piano
Jeremy Young - guitar, tapes
Jesse Perlstein - bass, electronics, howls
Hunter Jack - violin
Gillian Jackson - cello
