I am 64 years old and the last living branch of my family. I live alone there is no one left. Over this last year with all that has happened to me, I have found myself becoming bitter. I have not seen this movie for 40 years. I think everybody out there in this world that will read this comment will understand when I say that, I TRULY NEEDED TO SEE THIS MOVIE TODAY!! Mourning a loss, of any kind, can over the years harden the heart. We have all fallen foul of the deceitfulness of our heart, just like old Ebenezer did. I hope and pray that as you remember the reason why The Bethelehem Baby came, you will find the peace that you have yearned for. I too will pray for you you are never alone Jesus is very near and I hope and pray that your Christmas is way better than you were expecting if you know the hand what a friend we have in Jesus it's a great comfort I'm 83 and long a troubled family situation but long should be alone but I'm not lonely because I have this really great friends with me Jesus blessings Merry Christmas

Hands down..... The BEST Christmas movie ever made. George C. Scott delivered Ebenezer like NO ONE could have. It's definitely the best Christmas Carol.❤❤❤❤❤❤

I don't know, Alistair Simms did an amazing job as well. Some have said that his was the definitive Scrooge, most like the character that Dickens wrote.

It’s good but Alistair Sim in the 1951 version is hands down the best.
