In the first verse of “Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem”, the writer paints a picture of the city lying in a dreamless sleep with the silent stars watching over it. Amidst the silence and darkness of the streets, the everlasting light continues to shine. This light symbolizes the hope and fear of all people through the years, which are met in Bethlehem as the birthplace of Jesus Christ - the savior of mankind. I couldn't agree more. It is written and stated that our Lord remains as is as was and shall never change with the times. His tributes should also remain unchanged. The voice of Nat King Cole ignites a fire in my Soul along with burning presence of the Son of God. Merry Christmas !
