It’s important to point out that the Atmos in Dolby Cinema is not the same as Atmos in a regular theater. It’s much more customized and works with the unique geometry of the room.

IF after you start installation and is says install successfully, don't worry about if it won't actually open from apps page. It kinda runs in the background, but you will notice the difference in sound with EVERYTHING. All sounds you hear, whether music or video, each sound comes from a different position of the speaker in your headphones 🎧

I love dolby speakers I started to love this when I first used an old lenovo tab which had Dolby speakers on both sides giving surround sound ... It is really awesome when I found out the speakers were made of Dolby and this is how Dolby is like before I only knew about jbl but this could be a real deal ....

I'd like to point out that some videos, especially if produced for commercial television or cinema, are encoded with analog Dolby surround. I have a 15 year old Pioneer receiver with Dolby ProLogic with 5 speakers, and I'm often amazed at the surround sound of some of videos, for example, this BBC show on botany: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKMNig0Cz04

So unbelievable i used my Yamaha Ysp theatre bar 1100 for this test and it has 50 something tweaters in it to make it sound like a surround system and it sounds better than most soundbars today after hearing this test! Too bad i cant buy another one from them.

This isn't surround sound, however it's possible to upload surround sound to YouTube. Phantom by Justice (both parts) has 5.1 sound (format 258 in youtube-dl and video stats), and many 360° videos have Ambisonic sound (format 338) in Opus – which, curiously enough, is unplayable in VLC.

I'm using a pair of Philips MCD-708 4" Bookshelf speakers, hooked to a cheap chinese 5W/Ch mini class D amp (uses TDA7491LP chip), and damn do they sound good. I wouldn't expect these to reach below 50Hz, but they did...down to 45Hz.

Having Dolby Atmos on my system there is No need for more than 2 speakers. Atmos makes it sound like you're in a movie theater only on 2 speakers. Its awesome and the best 12 bucks I ever spent to have it.

If you want better sound avoid gaming headsets like the plague. Buy a pair of openback headphones and a soundcard like the Asus Xonar DGX it has dolby headphone built in with 3 different modes. Also has some extra features like being able to turn the virtual speakers around you for fun effects.

Use DVD-Audio discs and listen to the surround on those. I may post some Dolby Headphone encoded music from surround discs. Then people will even stereo headphone set ups can getball the effects.

Turning Dolby Digital Plus on seems to inhibit the bass of my ATH MSR7's. The overall quality seems to be slightly worse though. It's not very noticeable though, but the bass is extremely noticeable.

Wow! I listened to this with two different earphones, AKG, don't sound nice, I didn't notice the female voice at the end, and ROCK BIT H20, BLUETOOTH, sounds amazing, but when I listen to music or some audio I prefer the AKG, cause Iisten better and I can control the sound with the other I can't control it. The sound is too much for my ears, if I lower the sound it turnes off, if I put one point higher it's to much sound. But for this test The Rock works very nice
