¿ìÀÖ·ÖÁÑ(Joy Division) Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I've been waiting for a guide to come and take me by the hand,
Could these sensations make me feel the pleasures of a normal man?
These sensations barely interest me for another day,
I've got the spirit, lose the feeling, take the shock away.

It's getting faster, moving faster now, it's getting out of hand,
On the tenth floor, down the back stairs, it's a no man's land,
Lights are flashing, cars are crashing, getting frequent now,
I've got the spirit, lose the feeling, let it out somehow.

What means to you, what means to me, and we will meet again,
I'm watching you, I'm watching her, I'll take no pity from you friends,
Who is right, who can tell, and who gives a damn right now,
Until the spirit new sensation takes hold, then you know,
Until the spirit new sensation takes hold, then you know,
Until the spirit new sensation takes hold, then you know,
I've got the spirit, but lose the feeling,

I've got the spirit, but lose the feeling,
Feeling, feeling, feeling, feeling, feeling, feeling, feeling.

Overall Meaning

The first verse of this song talks about the singer waiting for guidance and hoping to experience the pleasures of a normal man, which could suggest some sense of isolation or disconnection from the world. He then dismisses these sensations as they barely interest him and he wants to get rid of the shock or discomfort he's feeling. The second verse describes the increasing intensity and chaos around him, with lights flashing, cars crashing, and the feeling that things are getting out of hand. He still has the spirit or energy, but wants to lose the feeling, to let it out somehow. The last two verses are a bit more cryptic. The singer talks about not caring about who is right or wrong, and watching people around him. He also refers to a "spirit new sensation" which will take hold and then the listener will know.

Hey Dr. Ekberg, I have a couple of questions.

You mentioned in this video that one of the issues with the liver is that it isn’t producing enough bile therefore fat stays in the liver. I watched other video of yours where you mentioned that apple cider vinegar helps with producing more bile. Is that the best way to remedy this? (Outside of good ole diet and exercise). Also, if you do take some apple cider vinegar regularly, will your body adapt and stop making as much bile than before? Thanks!

@Mercy L N Hello 👏 trust you're doing well and staying safe?

@Lauren R Hello 👏 how are you doing?

@Mercy L N Allow me to insert my non-professional experience. I had the worst diet for a couple of months. My food was nearly 100% processed all the time. I went cold turkey on November 1st. The first three days I had a slight head ache and sleep was often interrupted because of frequent bathroom visits. I also had a bit of trouble during morning hours to fast. I ate a little something at around 10.00h in the morning instead of waiting until noon. That only lasted for a week. From the second week on, I have no trouble whatsoever respecting my fast (min. 16/8) and I'm never hungry, which is miraculous since I've been a binge eater for a long time. Eating enough fat is crucial to avoid the cravings.

Dr. Sten Ekberg, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. You really reminded me on the importance of living a healthy life. I've been abusing my body for a while and thanks to you I stopped.
Wish you the best!

Thank you Dr. Ekberg for schooling me on my liver. I was diagnosed with NAFLD a decade ago. After seeing 2 gastroenterologists and having my gallbladder removed, they offered no real solution except to lose 10% of my body weight. No nutritional guidance, nothing. It is because of doctors like you that I am steered in the right direction. I started transitioning to a Ketogenic Diet and going to do some Intermittent Fasting and I'm on my way. Why can't traditional physicians think more outside the box instead of lining their pockets and advocating for the pharmaceuticals? Their oaths are to us, not the stock markets. Thank you so much.

@corymichael8445

If you don't have a gall bladder you should be on a low fat diet as you don't have the bile production.

as someone who sees doctors on a monthly basis due to Autoimmune diseases, now for 13 years, I can say with certainty that so called Traditional Doctors today work at keeping you sick, not to heal you. they do this to keep you on the pharmaceutical treadmill.
