I HAVE A DREAM
Î÷³ÇÄк¢Westlife Lyrics

I have a dream
A song to sing
To help me cope
With anything

If you see the wonder
Of a fairy tale
You can take the future
Even if you fail
I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me

I'll cross the stream
I have a dream, oh yeah

I have a dream
A fantasy
To help me through
Reality

And my destination
Makes it worth the while
Pushing through the darkness
Still another mile

I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me

I'll cross the stream
I have a dream

I have a dream
A song to sing
To help me cope
With anything

If you see the wonder
Of a fairy tale
You can take the future
Even if you fail

I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me

I'll cross the stream
I have a dream
I'll cross the stream
I have a dream

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; "and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.”
― Martin Luther King Jr.

I truly feel that the loss of MLK jr. Is one of the most harmful bereavements ever inflicted on the United States of America. I don’t just say this because he was a good man fighting for a good cause. I believe the assassination of MLK stole from our people (The entire US population) the opportunity to peacefully progress into a world where the fight for civil rights and equality would be accomplished, finished, and won. For all races and creeds. I feel that if this man were still alive, we would not see unarmed black men murdered by police, we would not see violent and destructive riots lashing out in anger, there would be no need for BLM in 2020 as a sole man in 1963 did more to illustrate and impress the importance of black lives than an entire organization has been able to do now.

There would be no political division based on race. We would have matured as people.

How is it that one man blessed with a true and loving heart, fearless determination, and powerfully incisive rhetoric was able to accomplish a larger task in more challenging times than our entire US population has been able to achieve in 2020? We, white and black, look like naive, tantrum throwing, children compared to MLK jr. We fight and squabble over an issue he was able to so eloquently illustrate as obviously simple.

In his untimely murder, the United States quite literally lost decades of progression that could have advanced us so much further than where we are today. I can’t think of a more irreplaceable person in our history. Imagine all the overlooked and lost advances we have missed due to civil division.

God gave humans such a needed gift in his form and we threw it away in total ignorance of how direly essential his message was in shaping our future.

The media would have us believe blacks are targeted by cops. Not all cops are bad and cops across this nation are not racist. Bad cops kill people.
