yeah, one of the few games that got me to cry, not many do

Perfect song for a perfect game. The ending to Reverie made me cry. So emotional when Laura told him to take her away from all this death and he bit her. That's actually the same line from Bram Stokers Dracula when Dracula bit Mina.

A reboot of a series that induced tears onto thousands. Amazing it was possible I had almost gave up hope for true drama in adventure games.

one of those stories that truly reaches the heart

i'm from a classic Casltevania school, a fanatic to its roots. never supported a 3D Castlevania and always looked at them in contempt . Lords of Shadow was no exception. I saw my brother playing it and acted all superior gamer bullshit, he only replied "you don't know what you're missing brother."
now, I look back and I laugh at my ignorant self.
though Lords of Shadow 2 broker the hearts of many, Lords of Shadow 1 stand tall as a classic that will live in the heart of every true gamer and Castlevania fan.

+MWH It's unfortunate this game didn't had the recognition it deserves, being seen as a GoW clone, and a taint to the franchise close minded fans as you used to be. Hopefully it gets vindicated at a later time, and remembered as a cult classic despite it's underwhelming reception in it's time. If Majora's Mask did it, this masterpiece should do it too

This game needs more recognition. It's got great voice acting, a great story and great characters. I will admit that Lords of Shadow 2 wasn't as good but I'm still enjoying it and dreading the end, I just want it to carry on as I did this one. More people need to play this game.

@Christian Trevisan it lacked an emotional impact like this and Mirror of Fate did

Yes this was the best storyline of the century this one out did itself especially if you were already a Castlevania fan

This experience truly was an amazing experience for all of us and this experience will not be forgotten, for we are its witnesses... forever eternally
