Six minutes, six minutes
Six minutes, six minutes

I know why you're here
I ain't sayin' nothin'

Hey yo, baby, I know why you're here
I know what you're doing
I can see it in your eyes, you're up to somethin'
I know what it is, but we're still cool
And we can socialize, I'm peepin' ya, baby
I'm holdin' back, I'm not lettin' go
Cause a fool doesn't have a shoulder to cry on
So give me a kiss and your service
Whether you like a mister or a miss

[Chorus]
Hey yo, baby, I know you don't love me
I know why you're here
But I ain't sayin' nothin'
Hey yo, baby, I know you don't love me
I know why you're here
But I ain't sayin' nothin'
Hey yo, baby, I know you don't love me
I know why you're here
But I ain't sayin' nothin'
Hey yo, baby, I know you don't love me
I know why you're here
But I ain't sayin' nothin'

Baby, you're my dear, I know why you're here
I know why you came, I know what you're thinkin'
I know what you need, and that's what I've got
You think I'm goin' crazy, no, I'm not drinking
I know what you want, I made ya want it
Take my hand, listen to the man
You have a plan, don't even risk it
What do you want, a biscuit?

[Chorus]

Six minutes, six minutes
Six minutes, six minutes
(I ain't sayin' nothin')
Six minutes, six minutes

Honey, I know what you're up to, I know how you're livin'
I know where you go when you leave my house
I know what your dreams are, but I dream too
You're with a man your, not with a mouse
I see how you stare, I see how you smile
I see right through, now act like you knew
I know all about where you been runnin'
Wipe your feet before you come in

[Chorus]

Yeah, that's smooth, let's just sit here and relax
While my man plays the piano for us
Sip somethin' mellow
And it's us while you're here
But of course I ain't sayin' nothin'

Okay, now that you know I know you know that I know you know
And that's the move, so sit right here
Whisper in my ear, caress my chest
And say somethin' smooth, but don't forget
I'll know what you'll say
Just what I thought, I know the routine
I know the routine, just what I thought
I know you tell the truth, I know you don't lie
Shh, close your eyes

[Chorus]

I won't tell if you won't tell
It's cool with me, I know why you're here
I ain't sayin' nothin'
I ain't sayin' nothin'
I know why you're here
But I ain't sayin' nothin'

I know why you're here
I ain't sayin' nothin'

I know you don't love me
I know why you're here
But I ain't sayin' nothin'

I know why you're here
But I ain't sayin' nothin'

I know you don't love me
But I ain't sayin' nothin'

(I know why you're here)
I ain't sayin'

Overall Meaning

"Six minutes, six minutes, six minutes, six minutes", Λ.J repeats the line over and over again, setting the tone for his song "Pleasures." The lyrics depict a scenario in which he is aware of the reason why a woman has come to him, but he is not willing to confront her directly. Throughout the song, Λ.J employs a calm and collected tone, with a touch of playfulness, rather than being overly emotional or confrontational. With phrases like "Baby, you're my dear, I know why you're here," he acknowledges the situation but doesn't make any grand statements about it. He is simply enjoying the "pleasures" of the woman's company without any commitment or expectations.

Going deeper into the lyrics, the song has a certain level of ambiguity that especially comes to light in phrases such as "Whether you like a mister or a miss." These particular lyrics suggest that the woman is likely there for some type of sexual satisfaction, but it is not clear whether her partner in this encounter is male or female. The chorus of the song also reinforces the idea that the songwriter is aware that the woman does not love him, but he is content to enjoy her company without expecting anything more.

The lyrics of "Pleasures" fit perfectly within the context of the slow jam genre. The tone of the song is sensual and suggestive, without being too graphic or explicit. The song's lyrics focus primarily on the physical attraction between two people, making it an excellent choice for a romantic evening or a playlist of seductive slow jams.

@gammaraygem

I promised a cat story in the chat. It got longer than i thought it would be...

I got Fritz a tiny allblack cat from a litter friends had.
He got along great with my two dogs.
At some point, I thought he was a bit lonely, when he got older, and decided to give him a young cat, tiny, as a friend.

Friends had called him Kevin, after a mechanic in a tv show, because he liked to sleep under the hood of the car. They could not keep him.. I thought, the new cat being so small, would not be felt as a threat by Fritz.

But already after a couple of months, problems began, and fierce fights between the two males. I thought, they´d figure it out eventually, but Fritz decided to take off. One day, he was just gone. I did not see that coming.
Now Kevin was Boss.

I missed Fritz, he was always close to me, would cuddle up to me when I went to sleep, in my little cabin in the woods.

A year and four months had gone by, and I had forgotten about Fritz....then one afternoon, I heard a loud meowing...in the forest, coming closer and closer...it was Fritz, walking down the track toward the house.
I picked him up...he was in a really bad shape, .Infection of the eyes and nose, he had problems breathing, and he was very, very skinny. He would not survive without help.

That night, I kept Kevin outside, and Let Fritz sleep on my shoulder. It felt as if he was talking to me: please, help me. I promised I would.

I was next to broke. I had food for me, my dogs and cat...I had ten Euro, my last cash for a week...I could not afford a vet,so I went to a pharmacy and explained the lady what the problem was. Luckily, she was a catperson, she sold me an antibiotics treatment, pills I had to give him twice a day for 6 days. And something against worms.

He took the pills, and I kept Kevin out of his way, and he was getting better quickly. On the sixth day, after giving him the last tablet, he was gone. How did he know the treatment was finished? I cant say. Maybe he didnt know.

Around half a year after that, on my sister her birthday (my sister was an avid collector of "cat" sculptures-2000 km away) He showed up again. He was huge. Fat cat. Really FAT, and superhealthy. He stayed an hour or two, and took off again. Never saw him again.

To me, this was no coincidence. Him coming back to say hello...look at me!!...okay, but on my catfanatic sister her birthday?
Yes ,all is connected in ways that we might see if we learned to see.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
As for animals wanting comfort: yes, and no...My dogs prefer outside over the stove, they gladly go out in a drizzle rain, and some sleep outside when it is zero degrees celcius. They wanna smell the wild bore, and bark at them. (from behind the fence...attacking a bore is not a good idea) Or stop noisy airplanes from landing in the backyard.

Nature is so nice. There is a pair of swallows that built a nest of clay and spittle, 4 years ago, hanging from underside of the roof of shed, and every spring, (they actually arrived this past week already) they come from (their holiday mansion?)Africa to spend the summer here in Southern Europe. And lay eggs and raise 4 or 5 little swallows, sometimes twice... just 6 meters away from me. Just listening to them chat (twitter-as its supposed to be- all the twitter I need) makes me happy.

@ivornelsson2238

Dear Curt, Anastasia, and Michael.
Thank you very much for this excellent video, containing a huge number of issues which one cannot handle in a short time in a commentary box.
So, I concentrate on the all-fameous TOE.

This isn´t even a modern concept. Every well elaborated ancient religions have its own and even very similar cultural Theory of Everything (TOE) embedded in its mythical Creation Story, in where the very concept of LIGHT constitutes the very basic mytho-cosmological telling in all cultures.
LIGHT is just one part of the full electromagnetic frequency, it works by attractive and repulsive polarities in magnetic spherical circuital fields and filaments, it works as already said by different frequencies, with different charges, and different ranges from micro- to macrocosm.
In this sense, the E&M force isn´t divided into three parts but is unified to be ONE, hence the big problem in modern astrophysics is resolved.
The electromagnetic current itself forms by its double helical motion, the RNA and DNA spirals which forms all molecules from atoms everywhere in cosmos and bind these together everywhere.
The two E&M polarities is mythologically representing the female contractive/attractive quality, and the expanding and repulsive quality is mythologically represented by male qualities.
The attractive polarity E&M force replace the Newtonian “gravity”, which also with reference to Einstein, isn´t a force at all and correctly so. Newtons celestial motions all derives from the very electromagnetic formation of gaseous and metallic clouds and provides rotational and orbital motions of galaxies, stars, and planets.
This preliminary description constitutes in fact an ancient TOE in all cultures. It´s very simple and natural.
The specific ancient Stories of Creation didn´t concern the entire Universe, as this was perceived to be eternal and infinite, as with all basic atoms and molecules as well. The eternal formation process was cyclical by a Formation, Dissolution and Re-Formation.
All these information was/is used to specifically describe the preconditions and factual formation of the Milky Way and the Solar System, a telling based on a “water-symbolism”, which directly pointed towards the Milky Way “foamy” contours and even towards the cosmic “cloudy rivers” from which the Milky Way (River) was formed. And everything outside the rotating Milky Way
was described ancestrally as “The Cosmic Ocean” in where “Islands are Sailing” i.e. other galaxies. BTW: The Swastika symbol resembles rotating galaxies.
Returning to the concept of LIGHT, our ancestors had/have a specific name for the central Milky Way light. For instants, in the Egyptian Ogdoad story of creation, this light was named Atum-Ra, a “fiery Light” from where everything in our galaxy was ignited and formed, where the Atum name itself refers to the Primordial Waters of creation.
Summary: Simply by having a cyclical perception in where LIGHT in general provides life, all kinds of forms, rotational- and orbital motion to galaxies, stars and planets, our ancestors had in fact not a TOE, but a KOE, a Knowledge of Everything.
A part of the empirical knowledge was observed by physical senses and a part were gained by spiritual senses and even by spiritual travelling in cosmos, thus our ancestors had/have no division of it all.
“Duality” as understood and determined be modern humans, was not an issue as everything were perceived to be eternally complementary. “God or bad” was tribally only an issue regarding “following the natural forces”, thus supporting everything in the creation to thrive in its cyclical formation.

@Airwave2k2
OK.
Fair enough.

Let's elaborate.
My point is that empathy, therefore morals, are natural, not cultural.
Empathy is a natural feature, particularly among mammals.
It's particularly strong in motherly instinct, for example.
Psychologically balanced mothers don't make a difference between their well-being and the well-being of their children.
We could say that they have a moral behavior towards their children.

Based on this premise, saying that morals are cultural is like saying that self-preservation or reproductive instinct is cultural. No. It's based on a natural instinct, not on an intellectual construct.

From a philosophical point of view, we can consider that the ultimate reality is the ultimate objectivity, and this reality is one, holistic, unified.
All mystics all around the world who realize that talk about the same thing.
Unity.

So empathy as the realization of unity is the ultimate objectivity.
The illusory subject, the ego, is bypassed and only that objective ultimate consciousness subsists.
That's why morals, as a consequence of empathy, as a consequence of the realization of unity, are the natural product of ultimate objectivity.

And the more an individual is close to that ultimate reality, the more he is moral, naturally. As naturally as breathing air.

Moral is not a fancy product of elaborate thinking and calculation.
It seems like it is for psychopaths or people with low empathy.

These 2 are great :) I really enjoy their channel as well.

@andols506

this one was a bit of a rollercoaster, many parts interesting and also frustrating. id have never guessed either of their backgrounds from this without someone clarifying, but im definitely going to check out more of their episodes. one other thing i hadnt realized before was how much i enjoy comparing Curt's way of interfacing with concepts/ideas/problems to guests way of doing so. more of these would be great Curt, conversations with other types of idea explorers are a differnt kind of interesting to specific experts.
