To hear the Lacrimosa live in concert is to experience the best that music has to offer. No recording can give it justice.

This is absolutely beautiful. It's a music coming from another planet! Thank you Mozart for having share your genius with us.

there is something so hauntingly beautiful about this song.

The epitome of melancholy. I wonder what Mozart and other classical composers would think and feel knowing that people in 2010 are still listening and appreciating their music? must be the ultimate high for any artist.

Mozart's student Franz Xaver Sussmayr finished it from Mozarts notes. You can definitely hear a difference after bar 8. it may have been so different had mozart finished it himself.

there are only three ways to listen to this piece 1: really quiet as a gentle wisper in the background 2: REALLY LOUD Full bass so the whole street can hear it 3: live at the BBC Proms

Vivaldi, Bach, Wagner, Beethoven and Mozart are all masters of classical music ! Its beautiful and very inspiring! People should listen to it even more than just now and then!

These geniuses are what made civilization great. To hell with the future, we're never going to perfect on pieces like this. All fans of this piece were born at least 150 years too late. SHEER BRILLIANCE.

I've sung this piece, and it is VERY moving & VERY powerful at the same time. However, i noticed a lot of folks, making rather "negative remarks" about Beethoven. Granted this is a wonderful choir piece to sing, especially with a 100 voice choir at that. But Beethoven & Bach, along with Chopin, had some WONDERFUL pieces themselves. So in my opinion, they were ALL classical masterminds, of there time.

Mozart and beethoven, One a child prodigy who died young, and the other a man who went deaf but still composed great music. They were in my opinion the best composers who ever lived. Their music is unique and wonderful for each of them.
