The song "Тазепам" by Ногу Свело! portrays the singer's anxiety and distress, which is evident from the first few lines of the song, "Умираю я от тоски, от тоски" (I am dying from melancholy). The desperation in the lyrics is further accentuated by the irrational actions of the singer, such as pulling out their hair and tickling their stomach. In the midst of these struggles, the singer refuses to give an interview, implying that they do not want to open up about their pain and suffering.
As the song progresses, it becomes clear that the singer's anxiety is leading to hallucinations, with bugs crawling on their body and worms crawling out of their nose. The imagery of the wall sprinkled with naked bedbugs and the sound of the toilet resembling Satan adds to the surreal atmosphere. A diver appears, requesting food, but the singer responds by hitting their head against a cupboard, which adds to the overall sense of frenzy in the song.
Throughout the song, there is a sense of running away from death, which is illustrated by the repeated line, "Смерть спешит за мной по пятам, по пятам" (Death is chasing me down). However, the singer's solution is to consume Tazepam, a drug that is often used to treat anxiety and sleep disorders. The final lines of the song, "Я сейчас прильну всем телом к тебе, Бе-бебе-бебе-бе-бебе" (I will cling to you with all my body now, babe), indicate that the singer might be seeking solace in the love of another.
