Although not a member of the group of Russian composers usually known in English-speaking countries as 'The Five', his music has come to be known and loved for its distinctly Russian character as well as for its rich harmonies and stirring melodies. His works, however, were much more western than those of his Russian contemporaries, as he effectively used international elements in addition to national folk melodies.

no. 27, 28 and the amazing pre- finale (and of course the finale) makes you cry of emotion because if you really love a theater, an orchestra, a ballet corpse, that gives you a reason to love life and to support the arts no matter where they come from.

Is this inspired from pictures of the exhibition published the same year

This particular dance is extremely beautiful and I believe is an integral part of the original version and I am surprised some versions (with modified happy ending) drop it. The sad dance seems to portray mourning by the Swans over betrayal of Princess Odette and their doomed fate. I personally feel the theme bears resemblance to mourning songs of Armenia and North Caucasus (with Persian music influence), though Tchaikovsky was not known to be particularly interested in the music of that area (unlike Rimsky-Korsakov, Ippolitov-Ivanov and some other Russian composers).

Bu müzik bana sevgimin tükendiğini hatırlatıyor, darmadağın olduğumu, ortadan kaybolmak adına her şeyi yapabileceğime inandırıyor. Yapabilirsin çocuk başar şunu
