This song hits home for me, had a motorcycle wreck 2 years ago and shattered my left arm and left foot, broke my neck and when I broke my neck it severed a nerve to my arm so I now have no use of it, so this song is awesome. I stay strong and positive and knowing that it happened for a reason and I'm still here for that reasn and that's because of the man upstairs!! ❤️ love it, thank you!

Disturbed is, for me, consistent and reliable. I mean, I know that I can put on an album and enjoy every single song. When they come up on a playlist I never skip them. I'd say yes, Indestructible is a must for your next Disturbed selection. Down With The Sickness is a great song and certainly iconic for them. It is often encouraged to new Disturbed listeners for the shock value, a sort of baptism by fire into the Disturbed experience, especially if Sound of Silence is all they have heard before. The contrast is stark. I like to know a person better, kinda test the water, before sharing 'Sickness' with them. I do think you'll appreciate the song and the importance of the subject matter but my only caveat is that the expletives are free flowing. If that is something you want to control on your channel you should be aware of it. If you look at the band's top 5 on Spotify you can see that Sound of Silence and 'Sickness' are their most popular by a lot, but consider when each of them were released. There is so much great, amazing music that they have produced, including new music this year 🤘🤘. Looking forward to your discovery.

Disturbed is hands down my favorite band by far. Their songs bring such heavy messages and the way that David sings and the instruments play just hits you right in the heart. I think you would enjoy A Reason To Fight by Disturbed if you do another one of their songs in the future. This is one of their less heavy songs. Down With the Sickness, one of their first singles, is the heavier sound they are known for. Be aware, that song has 2 versions, the radio edit, and the album version with a very raw spoken rant.

A lot of people do not know how much great music is out there. Almost all metal bands have great songs that are not screaming, or just for the power, expressing anger, etc. They feed the audience that, but for other fans they sneak in some really meaningful, epic music. :)

I know a few younger combat vets that have issues and were close to making the statistic (Suicide) that found hope in this song.. It seemed to be cathartic for them. I know it isn't something many of them like to deal with but this song tends to break them down and help them release and deal with the emotions and feelings so they can begin to heal... it seems to generate hope not just for them but m any others also.. You should check out another one by them called Hold onto Memories.. another song that deals with a sensitive subject for many.. the loss of loved ones and or friends...I did enjoy the break down and reaction and you have earned a sub and a like along with a comment to help your channel. Edited to add you should check out a song by Queensryche "Take Hold of the Flame" the live version in Tokyo... It is a similar vein of song and you also get to see and hear Geoff Tate in his prime... a baritone that can reach 5 octaves with ease and makes many a female opera singer jealous of that range and ease... fun fact is his band mate and guitarist has a similar range also Chris DeGarmo.. They have a few songs you might also like such as Silent Lucidity and Eyes of a Stranger. Be well and I am glad to have found you and your channel. Much love and respect.

I'd love to hear your reaction from a therapist perspective of their song called Into The Fire. Specifically from a therapist perspective because it's a song about a tragedy the singer, David, went through dealing with the trauma of his girlfriend committing suicide that he said was because of something he did, and I believe he was the one that found her. If anyone else is more familiar with what happened, let me know if I'm remembering it correctly. Specifics are important in a situation like this I think.

Rosalie, I have watched quite a few of your reactions and the ones I've seen, I've really enjoyed! My first introduction to Disturbed was "The Sound of Silence" and was so blown away by David Draiman's voice that I had to listen to more (I don't listen to metal music!) This one was my second and I was completely sold. PLEASE, PLEASE react to "Reason to Fight" and "Hold on to the Memories." Songs like "Down With the Sickness" I can't listen to - however the two that I listed are phenomenal songs with a message - just like this one. I think I have to sub now!!

Late to the party on your channel - found you through recent Tom MacDonald reaction. Since, I've found myself really loving your energy and your reactions. I've gone back to watch a lot of your older stuff - and I can see your journey down a hard rock and into metal path - and it's very inspiring seeing you stretch those legs and try something different.
I've heard your many comments that you've grown up always thinking metal was this one thing - screamo and all about evil stuff.
I can see for sure you are now seeing there's so much more to it. Metal really moves your soul - like classical music does. Disturbed is one of those bands where their songs all have so powerful meaning and messages. A lot of metal music does that.

Light is easiest seen in darkness. Take a straight tunnel for instance. When you're deep in it facing into it's depth you see only darkness & nothing but even if you are miles & miles into it, you could turn around & see light where you began & there is your clear reminder that no matter how dark your life is, there is always a light somewhere. We have to embrace the darkness in order to understand how to find the light & once we come into the light from the darkness, we'll know what places are dark & we can find our way out of it. I quoted myself & had it tattooed onto my forearms, " Knowledge Through Pain " on my right arm & " Wisdom Through Misery " on my left arm. The songs The Night & The Light go hand in hand as a guide
