Where'd You Go

Where'd you go? I miss you so
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone

She said, "Some days, I feel like shit
Some days ,I wanna quit and just be normal for a bit"
I don't understand why you have to always be gone
I get along, but the trips always feel so long
And I find myself tryna stay by the phone
'Cause your voice always helps me to not feel so alone
But I feel like an idiot, workin' my day around the call
But when I pick up, I don't have much to say

So, I want you to know it's a little fucked up
That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin'
Tellin' you that I've had it with you and your career
Me and the rest of the family here, singing, "Where'd you go?"

Where'd you go? I miss you so
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone
Where'd you go? I miss you so
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone
Please come back home

Come back home, you know, the place where you used to live
Used to barbeque up burgers and ribs
Used to have a little party every Halloween with candy by the pile
But now, you only stop by every once in a while
Shit, I find myself just fillin' my time
With anything to keep the thought of you from my mind
I'm doin' fine, and I'm plannin' to keep it that way
You can call me if you find that you have somethin' to say

And I'll tell you, I want you to know it's a little fucked up
That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin'
Tellin' you that I've had it with you and your career
Me and the rest of the family here, singing, "Where'd you go?"

Where'd you go? I miss you so
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone
Where'd you go? I miss you so
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone
Please come back home

I want you to know it's a little fucked up
That I'm stuck here waitin', no longer debatin'
Tired of sittin' and hatin' and makin' these excuses
For why you're not around, and feeling so useless
It seems one thing has been true all along
You don't really know what you got 'til it's gone
I guess I've had it with you and your career
When you come back, I won't be here and you can sing it

Where'd you go? I miss you so
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone
Where'd you go? I miss you so
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone
Please come back home

Please come back home
Please come back home
Please come back home
Please come back home

When you made me that initial batch of songs
I was like, that's the shit right there
Holla

Overall Meaning

"Where'd You Go?" is a song by Fort Minor, a hip-hop project headed by Mike Shinoda, the rapper and keyboardist of the American rock band Linkin Park. He wrote the song about his wife’s struggles when he was not around due to his music career, but the lyrics can resonate with anyone who has missed their loved ones. The first verse is sung by Holly Brook, a singer-songwriter from Wisconsin, also known as Skylar Grey. Brook’s contribution to the song adds to its overall melancholic vibe. The second and third verses are rapped by Shinoda, and they portray his realization that he has been neglecting his loved ones while he was on tour.

The chorus conveys the longing that arises when one's partner is away for long periods, and the need for them to come back home. Shinoda's lines, "I want you to know it's a little fucked up/ That I'm stuck here waiting, no longer debating," express his frustration with his partner's absence, while the phrase "I'm doin' fine, I plan to keep it that way" hints at his desire to keep himself busy and distracted from his loneliness.

The song touches on a universal theme: the sacrifices that come with pursuing one's passion. Although the song was written from Shinoda's perspective, its message offers a perspective into the struggles that arise when trying to balance career with family life.

well their big bosses, the zionist-nazi capitalist who enslaved the
world without people noticing, are old and therefore old school I talk
about WEF, Bill Gates, Schwab and Rothschild and Rockefeller, Kissinger.
They
either personally old and old school or their inheritant child are
proably 30-40 years old and running family "busines" deep state but also
inherated the old school mind.

So hey cant adapt and configure modern concept propaganda without beeing cringe.
They dont know the streets or young people media behaviour our language so they mess up.

Imagine like Benji Satanjahu going into the hood and enter some KFC and ordering something. Even the employees would be scared that he gets stabed inside the restaurant while eating salat and chicken wings with no sauce and ordering some lemon tea.

@Judaea98

G-D will always protect its people and it's nation they are the people of the book and chosen.
I love Israel ✡️❤️
They are such an amazing country and I am thankful for everything the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) does to protect the people in and around the land of Israel and keeping Israel a Jewish sovereign nation as the Jewish people are the indigenous people of that land they have existed since the BC days and their history is engraved in that land everything about it even before it was ever called Israel or even the names Judea & Samaria which is modern day Israel all these names we came before.
We have many holy preserved texts and very historical findings of all sorts many of them and some of them the Jewish people purposely kept preserved through even the worst of times in history, many progrom's and evil people's tried to annihilate us but the holy one saves us from their hand.
G-D is an really amazing thing and we must keep HaShem in mind when we do our day to day lives with anything, you will only be doing better for yourself when you take things like the Torah in to your life and live to be the happiest and healthiest person you can be, stay away from the negative energy as that's not necessary for a happy life.

This isn't complicated
Arabs come from ARABIA
Jews come from Judea!
And the Palestinians come from EVERYWHERE! (Mostly Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Arabia) etc

we are Jews who AREN'T going to just sit back and do NOTHING and have OUR INDIGENOUS land stolen from us no we have come to take our native land back from the arab muslim Imperialists who ATTEMPT to steal it which cant and will never happen as they will never erase the history of this land! which is and has always been JEWISH LAND!
We have resisted brutal Islamization since the days of the warmonger Mohammed. it's not only an ethnic conflict, but also a religious one. "they really don't like the Jewish", because it was never about "Israel", ever.
arab muslim conquests of the middle east, the caliphates, forcibly converting native populations to Islam- that's colonialism/imperialism. Arabs are not native to the Levant, they are native to...well Arabia, obviously. Also, Jerusalem is not nearly as important to muslims as it is to jews. Jerusalem isn't even mentioned in the Qur'an. You have Mecca and Medina.

Jew-ru-salem- land of the Jews
Jewish people are the indigenous people of that land they have existed since the BC days and their history is engraved in that land everything about it even before it was ever called Israel or even the names Judea & Samaria which is modern day Israel all these names they came before.
how about instead of causing conflict with the aboriginals you celebrate with us! Because we will always be the people of the book whether you despise us or not these radicals can't erase the true history of this land which is as Jewish as can be!

my country is free and always has been. If I right now take my car and go drive to their Arabic region do you even realize what would happen to a Jew?
While Arabs can roam Israel freely and live happily as long as they don't commit terrorism and crimes just like any other land.
The proper solution to this is that they get a citizenship from one of the 22 Arab nations… especially those that were directly responsible for the conflict (Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon).

The restrictions exist for a reason and that is to protect Israel’s security as well as demographics.

By the way, so called mistreatment is far more humane than what other nations would do to them - outright expulsion, persecution, harassment, special taxes.

I’m on the side of ‘American needs to stop giving taxpayer dollars to foreign nations’.

@Broskisunited

Agreed we need to focus on our own stuff

We could spend on our plentiful resources on getting universal healthcare, solving gun violence, solving school shootings but no we are sending it to wars happening thousands of miles away from our borders

@Leaninmyspleen.

But the United States has to put up the idea that a terrorist organization cannot attack a democratic nation, imagine the ideas china and Russia would do. And Israel is the only country on the planet that protects Jews.

@stinkymonke3622

As a European i agree, mind your own fuckin business let them duke it out themselves

@johnnavey6036

Or many not spend almost 1 trillion dollars on military spending

@SmokeySeventy-Six

@@stinkymonke3622 Maybe we should’ve minded our own business during the Second World War too… twice now that America has to break up the fight between you guys

@urfavoritekeser

You don't want peace at all your name says it all you're brainwashed and clearly support a side lol. Israel isn't the victim and peace isn't an option when the opposition is murdering your country's children for the past 50 years.
