Lookin' like another Bob Marley day
Today has a chill vibe, just like a typical day of Bob Marley's music.

Hittin' from the bong like a diesel train
Smoking marijuana from a bong with intensity and vigor.

And I'm down with hanging out this afternoon
I am willing and excited to spend the afternoon being lazy with my friends.

We got weeds in the backyard four feet tall
There are marijuana plants growing in the yard that have grown quite tall.

Cheech and Chong probably would of smoked 'em all
Cheech and Chong, known for their love of marijuana, would likely have smoked all of the plants.

So I'm out on the couch this afternoon
I am lounging on the couch, enjoying the afternoon's laziness.

Beer bottles layin' on the kitchen floor
Empty bottles of beer are scattered on the kitchen floor.

If we take 'em all back we can buy some more
Returning the empty bottles means we can buy more beer to keep drinking.

So I doubt we'll go without this afternoon
We won't run out of beer and will continue drinking throughout the afternoon.

If you choose to join us, be prepared for an all-night party.

We'll party until the early hours of the morning.

There's nothing wrong with staying up all night having fun.

It's hard to stop partying and go to bed when we're having so much fun.

We always get back up and keep partying.

Landlord says I should buy a tent
The landlord is suggesting I should find a new place to live because of our partying lifestyle.

But he can kiss my ass 'cause I paid the rent
I don't care what the landlord says because as long as I pay rent, I can do what I want.

So I doubt he'll kick me out this afternoon
I don't think my landlord will kick me out of my apartment today.

Down on the corner in a seedy bar
We are at a dodgy bar on the street corner.

Jukebox crankin' out the CCR
The jukebox is playing classic rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Had a few, to Suzy Q this afternoon
We're having a few drinks while listening to the song Suzy Q.

Don't wanna wristwatch or an alarm clock
I don't want anything that tells me what time it is because I just want to enjoy my time with friends.

To see what time it is
I don't care to know what time it is.

From the moment I wake up
As soon as I wake up, all I care about is spending time with my friends.

I just love being with my friends
I love spending time with my group of friends.

We barely get by but have the best times
We don't have much, but we know how to have fun with what we have.

And hope it never ends
I hope we can continue partying and spending time together like this forever.
