Playin' in the street gonna be a big man some day
You got mud on yo' face
You big disgrace
Kickin' your can all over the place
Singin'
We will we will rock you
Buddy you're a young man hard man
Shoutin' in the street gonna take on the world some day
You got blood on yo' face
You big disgrace
Wavin' your banner all over the place
Singin'
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you
Buddy you're an old man poor man
Pleadin' with your eyes gonna make you some peace some day
You got mud on your face
You big disgrace
Somebody better put you back into your place
Singin'
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you
The song "We Will Rock You" by Nickelback is a cover version of the original Queen song. The song is an anthem for people who are down on their luck but remain confident that they will eventually make it big. The first verse talks about a young boy playing in the street with the hopes of becoming a big man someday. Although he has mud on his face and is kicking cans all over the place, he is filled with hope for the future.
The second verse is addressed to a young man who is shouting in the street and ready to take on the world. He has blood on his face, suggesting that he is not afraid to fight for what he wants. He is waving his banner all over the place, indicating that he is proud of who he is and what he stands for.
The final verse is about an old man who is poor and pleading with his eyes. He has mud on his face, just like the first boy, but he is a big disgrace because he has lost his way. Somebody better put him back into his place, but he sings "We Will Rock You" with conviction, showing that he still has hope in his heart.
Overall, the song is a powerful anthem for anyone who has ever felt like an underdog. It's a reminder that even with all the mud and blood, you can still hold your head up high and believe in yourself.

I agree. These guys can turn up the amps and vibrate goat pee into gasoline.
I'm a longtime fan of them, and Theory, and Shinedown and Saving Able. [And I'm 57 and cut my teeth to AC/DC and Van Halen in 9th grade in 1980.
When I fire up my old 69 Charger, Nickelback is just as great to hear pumping outta the the Cerwin Vega's as Molly Hatchet or Bad Company.
Fierce Spirit is conveyed across many mediums. Just listen to 'Roar' from Katy Perry. There's something about good music that rises above genre'.
Music that makes you wanna move comes in all stripes. Listen to your heartbeat when something good is on the box.... it tries to carry you away.
Keep Rockin!!

I like your pants around your feet
And I like the dirt that's on your knees
And I like the way you still say please
While you're looking up at me
You're like my favourite damn disease
And I love the places that we go
And I love the people that you know
And I love the way you can't say no
Too many long lines in a row
I love the powder on your nose
Ooooh
And now I know who you are
It wasn't that hard
Just to figure you out
(Now I did, you wonder why)
And now I know who you are
It wasn't that hard
Just to figure you out
(Now I did, you wonder why)
I like the freckles on your chest
And I like the way you like me best
And I like the way you're not impressed,
While you put me to the test
I like the wine stains on your dress
I love the way you pass the check
And I love the good times that you wreck
And I love your lack of self respect
While you're passed out on the deck
I love my hands around your neck
And now I know who you are
It wasn't that hard
Just to figure you out
(Now I did, you wonder why)
And now I know who you are
It wasn't that hard
Just to figure you out
(Now I did, you wonder why
Why not before, you never tried
Gone for good, and this is it)
I like your pants around your feet
And I like the dirt that's on your knees
And I like the way you still say please
While you're looking up at me
You're like my favourite damn disease
And I hate the places that we go
And I hate the people that you know
And I hate the way you can't say no
Too many long lines in a row
I hate the powder on your nose
And now I know who you are
It wasn't that hard
Just to figure you out
(Now I did, you wonder why)
And now I know who you are
It wasn't that hard
Just to figure you out
(Now I did, you wonder why
Why not before, you never tried
Gone for good, and this is it)

Oh good God!!! So much I could say about that whole scenario just layed out there. Truck Driver rocking out to this particular song over and over. I hope that you're a good dude. I've seen way to many Investigation Discovery shows. The ID Channel. Forgive me though. I did not want to be insulting. Without you men and women traveling all over. Missing your family and friends in order to deliver the food or items people need all over the country. Thank you for that.
