This song is easily one of Skillets greatest master pieces. The strings , the flow, the lyrical composition all converge together into a powerful anthem for us all. The part that gets me especially is the bulid up to the first chorus with jens soft vocals and then the instruments swell and burst forth with johns powerful voice leading the charge. Absolutely incredible.

Skillet is one of the few reasons why I'm still alive. They've been one of the few that could keep me afloat in my darkest times, on days when I just want to go out and then jump down a cliff. For years, they kept me entertained but recently they've become one of the few that has become my lifeline.

I've seen these guys preform live at exit 111 last year (the very last exit 111). My twin committed suicide about 3 months prior and I was on a very very dark place. When I heard this song live, they mentioned this song was dedicated to those who thinking about suicide. I've respected them every since and would be an honor to meet them in person

Love how there's Linkin Park fans here. The same year they formed the band, I went into the Army but had no idea years later, and after his passing, my heart sank. Few years later, I lost my stepfather the same way. Music has been there for me all these years and I thank God for this band and so many others out there sharing God's love. Chester fought demons day and night and it was clear sign how the devil works. He comes to Steal, Kill and Destroy All that is good. May God bless his family, friends, and us who stood by them all those years. God Bless Skillet and their amazing music that has shined a light in this dark world. Peace and God Bless.

can we just appreciate that skillet made this song for those whom are currently facing depression? it's amazing, really. most people dont notice or care about these mental conditions, which leaves people who fight against them in the dark because it seems like nobody is there to help them. after all, we aren't mind readers and therefore cannot tell what goes on inside a persons head. dont give up people, i believe in you, and ill help you face your darkest of times.
