In 2016, she became a member of the trio REOL and released the album Σ. REOL disbanded in October 2017.
In January 2018, Reol signed to Victor Entertainment. On March 5 she released a music video for the song titled エンド as the single for her solo debut EP. Reol released her first EP titled 'Kyokoushu' on March 14. Reol released the singles Saisaki and Sairen in July and August respectively before the announcement of her first studio album 'Jijitsujo' ('事実上'). 'Jijitsujo' was released on October 17, and a music video for the third single Gekihaku was released on December 19.

The lyrics of "No Title" by れをる express a person who had many dreams and aspirations but it seems like they lost their way along the road. The first line of "Zutto yume miteta boku ni nareta kana" portrays the singer's longing to be the person they have always dreamed of becoming. The second line, "Tou ni kaerenai toko made kita mitai" suggests that the singer has gone too far and started to notice that they can no longer turn back. The lines, "Jibun no ashi de nidan tobashite Sou motto saki he kakete ikeru" show a shift in mindset where the singer decides to take control of their life by taking steps forward.
The lyrics also convey a sense of pain and confusion, "Fukaku naru kizu wo nuiitsuke Tsunagu pasu jiku ni mawari dasu Nareta itami aseru kokyuu to biito."
