Destino
Destino
Destino
Destino
Destino
The lyrics of 中山美穂's song Rosa deal with the theme of a woman's determination to follow her heart despite being scrutinized and labelled by society. The song is about the singer's destiny or 'Destino' which is a term that she uses to express her journey and purpose in life. The first two stanzas start by questioning the intense gaze of the person she is addressing, assuring them that they need not be concerned as this is her 'Destino.'
The song then goes on to narrate how people perceive the singer's choices as wayward and unwise. She acknowledges the fact that sometimes one needs to stumble and make a few mistakes to understand life better. Thus, 'Destino' is her way of seeing and experiencing things, irrespective of societal norms and her own fears. The third stanza sets the mood for the singer to let go of her past experiences and move on with her present. Accepting one's emotions is the primary step towards a new journey.
Further, the fourth and fifth stanzas express the singer's love for the person she is addressing, assuring him that it is not just a game for her, and that she is deeply in love. Finally, the song ends on a hopeful note with the singer expressing her faith in her love interest and declaring that she is willing to let go of their past and move forward together.
